We advise all customers to please read our terms and conditions carefully before placing any orders, as once items have been purchased, you are agreeing to abide by these. Our terms and conditions may be modified from time to time, without notice. If changes have been made after you have placed an order it will not affect your order, unless the change made was required by law.

Copyright Policy

Unless otherwise indicated, copyright of Interior Collections artwork (including but not limited to text, images, designs, graphics, and logos) is solely owned by Interior Collections. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose that is not expressly permitted by Interior Collections. Any reproduction or redistribution of these items is strictly prohibited. All copyright is protected by intellectual property laws. Orders

Our Website allows You to purchase goods from Us.

The prices for the goods that can be purchased through Our Website are set out on Our Website, include any applicable GST, and are subject to change from time to time without notice.

Any orders that You place on Our Website are subject to Our approval and are an invitation to treat only. This means that if You place an Order, We will have no contractual obligation to deliver or allow You to collect the goods the subject of any Order until and unless We accept the Order in writing. Until We have provided you with that written confirmation, We can reject or cancel the Order at any time by written notice to You. You will know if We have accepted the Order if We send You an email that expressly states that We accept Your order. If We send You such an email, a contract will be deemed to have been formed between You and Us for Our provision of the goods the subject of the Order to You.

If We do not accept Your Order, We will inform You accordingly by email and will not charge You for the goods the subject of the Order. If You have already paid Us for the Order and we reject or cancel the Order, We will promptly refund to You the amount that You paid.

Sometimes we cannot accept an Order for goods that are out of stock or where We identify an error in the price or description of any goods.

Once You place an Order on Our Website, We will assign an order number to You which uniquely identifies the Order. Please quote the order number whenever You contact Us about Your Order. We are not required to provide any goods to You until We receive full payment for them.
Payment must be made for any Order placed by one of the payment methods specified on Our Website.

Occasionally items are incorrectly listed as 'in stock' on our website. We apologise if this situation does occur and will contact you immediately to work out a solution. Interior Collections gives you the option of a full refund, exchange of item or to put the item on back order if it is due to be back in stock soon.

Order changes

If You would like to make a change to any Order that You have placed with Us through the Website, please contact Us. If You wish to make any change to an Order, We will let You know if We agree to make the change to the Order, and if so, any relevant change to the price, delivery dates and anything else which becomes necessary as a result of the change. We are not obliged to accept any request to change an Order.

Passing of Risk and Title

Title to and all risk associated with the products passes to you upon the products being dispatched.

Pricing

All pricing is listed in AUD and includes GST. Interior Collections reserves the right to change pricing at its discretion without notice. Prices quoted are deemed correct at time of publishing. However, errors and omissions, fluctuating currencies and other factors beyond our control can occur, so we reserve the right to make changes if and when necessary. Pricing may change without notification and Interior Collections has the right to withdraw an item from sale at their discretion.

Colours of Products

Colours, as shown on our photographs, are displayed differently on every monitor and computer system, depending on the device. As such, colours displayed are best digital representation but can vary from the actual finish. If your item on arrival is not the colour, as depicted there will be no refunds offered due to a variation in colour from that depicted on our website and your screen.
It may also be that the product is handmade and therefore each piece will vary in colour or pattern. Where possible we will note this in the item description.

Delivery

Please provide us with a delivery address where deliveries can be made during normal business hours from Monday and Friday. A Post Office box address cannot be accepted.

If there is nobody to sign for the goods when they are delivered the freight carrier will leave a card in your letterbox advising of the failed delivery. The goods will then be returned to their local depot and you will then need to make contact with the freight carrier directly to arrange an appropriate time for a re-delivery.

Please provide clear delivery instructions within the "Special Delivery Instructions" area of the checkout. Many of the products on our website are large and heavy in nature and may require special delivery arrangements. It is imperative that you provide us with any special delivery details relating to your delivery address. You are responsible for ensuring there is adequate access and entry to the site to allow the delivery of the products. If delivery cannot be made, a card will be left and you will be responsible at your expense for organising collection of the products from the address identified on the card.

If your order contains multiple products then individual products may be delivered on different days, depending on the availability of freight carriers on any given day to facilitate the delivery.



In most cases we expect delivery to be completed within 10-21 days of placement of your order, depending on where you live, however please not than on occasion delivery times may change based on factors outside of our control such as supply interruptions or your delivery location.  If an item is not in stock, you will be notified of the approximate expected arrival date.

To ensure that your items are delivered safely to your delivery address it is advisable to have someone there to be able to sign for the goods. Your contact details and phone numbers are passed onto our logistic companies and they are requested to contact you in advance to advise of the anticipated date and approximate time of delivery.



Interior Collections will do everything possible to request that the logistic company contacts you in advance, but unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible if they do not facilitate such a contact.




Receipt of Delivery



Before signing as having received the products in good order please unpack and check the product/s for any faults or damages. If you have any concerns you must make the appropriate notes on the delivery cart note before signing it and ask the driver to initial your remarks. If possible, please take a photo of the fault or damage immediately following the delivery.



You must notify Interior Collections of any faulty or damaged goods  within 48 hours of receipt of the goods  by phone on 0409226631 or email.



Once we have received your advice of any faulty or damaged goods we will liaise directly with our Supplier/s to resolve the issue. Please refer to the Refunds & Returns Policy section for more information.

Payments

We accept online payments.

We utilise third party payment gateways provided by PayPal Australia Pty Ltd and other Banks to process payments made to Us via the Website.

We also accept payments via direct deposit – EFT.

Each time You make a payment using a Payment Gateway You will be deemed to have acknowledged, understood and agreed:

  1. that the Payment Gateway may be affected by delays, defects, faults and/or other matters which render the Payment Gateway unusable. These matters may be caused by factors including technical difficulties with the performance or operation of Our or the Payment Gateway's software or hardware or due to problems or malfunctions with the Internet or other telecommunications networks;
  2. that except in respect of any Non-Excludable Guarantees, We do not warrant, guarantee or represent that unauthorised access to information and data cannot occur, and that We are not responsible for the performance or non-performance of the Payment Gateway;
  3. that You have relied on Your own independent assessment and judgement in determining whether the Payment Gateway meets Your requirements.

 

Order changes

If You would like to make a change to any Order that You have placed with Us through the Website, please contact Us. If You wish to make any change to an Order, We will let You know if We agree to make the change to the Order, and if so, any relevant change to the price, delivery dates and anything else which becomes necessary as a result of the change. We are not obliged to accept any request to change an Order.

For your safety Interior Collections does not keep credit card details on file. Each time you place an order through our online store or via phone with Interior Collections you will be asked to re-submit your credit card details.

Cancellations, Refunds, Returns and Exchanges

Interior Collections will only make, and is only obligated to make, a refund in accordance with the Refunds & Returns Policy, Custom or special ordered goods ie non-standard fabrics etc, are defined as a non stock item and are non refundable, if cancelled, unless the item is proved to be faulty.
Refunds are entitled only if the item is faulty or has a serious flaw, that was not known at the time of purchase (unless agreed to and stated on the order), or is not fit for the use it was sold for (ie was advised waterproof and is not).

Some of our pieces may be hand crafted and hand finished to provide a unique look and may vary in measurement and finishing colour. We do not consider minor measurement difference or slight colour variations flaws. As timber is a natural product, each piece may be different and vary over time with exposure to light and use. Natural imperfections are normal and may include knots, grain and surface texture and distressed highlights in different areas. Returns and exchanges must be lodged/made within 7 days.

If you detect a manufacturers fault with your item you must notify us within 7 days. You will be offered a replacement item if available. If a replacement item is not available you will be offered a similar item at a similar price or a refund. A refund is not available if a replacement item is available. Faults not reported within 7 days are not eligible for a refund.

If an incorrect item has been delivered, please contact Interior Collections within 24 hours of the delivery. We will arrange for the collection of the incorrect item and delivery of the correct item. Your replacement item will be delivered to you within the normal delivery time frame for that item. You will not incur any additional costs in this circumstance.

We will not accept the return of goods that are damaged by you (accidentally or otherwise) or due to natural wear and tear following delivery.

All complaints, claims, or notification of lost Goods, incomplete Goods, Goods damaged in transit or Goods that do not comply with the Customer’s purchase order must be submitted by the Customer to Interior Collections in writing within seven (7) business days of the date of the invoice rendered for the supply of the Goods. Otherwise, the Customer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods and shall not refuse to pay for the Goods on the basis that they were lost, incomplete, damaged in transit, or do not comply with the Customer’s purchase order.

We do not refund for change of mind. As we are an online-only store who source products from physical suppliers and manufacturers, Interior Collections cannot offer returns or refunds on goods you have purchased based solely on a change of mind. While Interior Collections aims to provide you with as much information as possible about the products offered for sale on this website in order to assist you with making the best possible purchase decision, you acknowledge that, subject to the Refunds and Returns Policy and to the Cancellation of Order Procedure contained in these Terms and Conditions, all purchases of goods from this website are final.

You accept you will not be entitled to refuse delivery of goods nor request a return, refund or exchange of goods you have purchased from this website on the basis that you have changed your mind about the purchase of the goods.

You accept that all refunds will be provided to you by electronic funds transfer to your nominated account or in any other way decided at the discretion of Interior Collections.

You may cancel an order only if the order has not been placed with the supplier, however the following charges will apply:


(i) if your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by electronic funds transfer we will issue you with a full 100% refund less any transaction costs and bank fees incurred by Interior Collections.

(ii) if your order has not been placed with the supplier and you have paid by credit card either over the phone or via our online payment system you will be offered a full refund less any fees charged to us by the bank to make the refund transaction.

Cancellation will not be accepted on goods that are not regular stock which are in the process of manufacture or ready for shipment.


Termination

We may terminate these Terms of Use and Your access to the Website or any part of it at any time without notice. We may take down the Website or any part of it or take the Website or any part of it offline at any time without notice. Termination of these Terms of Use and access to the Website does not affect any accrued rights of either You or Us.

SEVERABILITY:

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is deemed invalid, that part will be severed from this agreement and the remainder of these Terms and Conditions will continue to be valid and enforceable.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that:

  1. using the Website to violate all or any legal rights of any person or company or other entity in any jurisdiction is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  2. using the Website in relation to crimes such as theft and fraud is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  3. using the Website in breach of laws relating to the protection of copyright, trade secrets, patents or other intellectual property and laws relating to spam or privacy and whether such violation is by way of the installation or distribution of "pirated" software or otherwise, is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  4. introduction of malicious programs into Our network or servers (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojan horses, e-mail bombs) is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  5. using the Website to carry out security breaches or disruptions of network communication is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use. Security breaches include accessing data of which You are not an intended recipient or logging into a server or account that You are not expressly authorised to access or corrupting any data. For the purposes of this paragraph, "security breaches" includes, but is not limited to, network sniffing, pinged floods, packet spoofing, denial of service, and forged routing information for malicious purposes;
  6. using the Website to execute any form of network monitoring which will intercept data not intended for You is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  7. using the Website to circumvent user authentication or security of any of Our hosts, networks or accounts or those of Our customers or suppliers is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  8. using the Website to interfere with or deny service to anyone is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  9. using any program/script/command, or sending messages of any kind, with the intent to interfere with, or disable, any person's use of the Website is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;
  10. sending unsolicited email messages through or to users of the Website in breach of the Spam Act 2003 is strictly prohibited by these Terms of Use;

We do not accept responsibility for the conduct of any users of Our Website.

Indemnity

You indemnify Interior Collections in respect of any claim, action, demand, liability, loss, damage, cost, proceedings or expense directly or indirectly related to:
  • your breach or non-observance of any of the Terms and Conditions
  • any breach or inaccuracy of any of your representations or warranties; or
  • your use of the Website.

Overseas Access

This Website may be accessed from anywhere in the world however Interior Collections makes no offer or invitation to sell any product in any country outside Australia. If you access this Website from outside Australia, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for complying with the laws in the place where you access the Website and the laws of the State of NSW, Australia.

Dictionary and Interpretation provisions

Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions: 

Australian Consumer Law means schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Business Day means Monday - Friday excluding public holidays in New South Wales.
Business Hours means 9:00am - 5:00pm on Business Days. 
GST has the meaning given by the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth)). 
Intellectual Property Rights means all copyright, trademark rights, patent rights, and design rights, whether registered or unregistered, and all other rights to intellectual property as defined under article 2 of the convention establishing the World Intellectual Property Organisation, and all rights to enforce any of the foregoing rights. 
Moral Rights has the meaning given in the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth). 
Non-Excludable Guarantee means a non-excludable guarantee implied into these Terms of Use by the Australian Consumer Law. 
Order means an order for goods placed by You on Our Website. 

Personal Information has the meaning given in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Privacy Policy means Our Privacy Policy located on our website. 
Terms of Use and Terms and Conditions means the terms and conditions set out on this webpage as amended by Us from time to time.
